PGA Grand Slam of Golf

Bermuda was proud to host this year's PGA Grand Slam of Golf from October 13 - 15 2008, for the second year running. This year's invitees included from South Africa, Masters Champion, Trevor Immelman; from Ireland, British Open winner & PGA Champion, Padraig Harrington; from South Africa, 2001 and 2004 U.S. Open Champion, Retief Goosen; and, from USA, 2003 U.S. Open Champion, Jim Furyk.

Angel Cabrera won the inaugural PGA Grand Slam of Golf in Bermuda in October of 2007, and we were excited to see which one of the four invitees would win this year's tournament. Following a dramatic finish at the Mid Ocean Club, Jim Furyk wins the 2008 tournament.

The PGA Grand Slam will be played at the newly renovated Port Royal Golf Course in 2009 and 2010. Boasting the most difficult qualification requirement in the game — a major championship — the 36-hole PGA Grand Slam of Golf is expected to be an incredible show by the world's top golfers.
